Marc Miller's TRAVELLER

SECTOR INFORMATION in M:1100 (ie CT/pre-rebellion MT era)

I have zipped the file (the file when extracted will come to about 3 megs, zipped it is about 900K). This is the in Excel 5.0 format (for PCs), and has just over 15,000 entries The file has been formatted into workbook format (1 sector per page). revised 4/10/98

This spreadsheet presents 'known space' in sector format, and I have created links back to the data spreadsheet such that when you click on a sector that I have data available for - it will bring up that particular sector. Excel '97 is required to access this spreadsheet, and both spreadsheetsDownload the single sheet format file must be in the same directory for the links to be valid. Download the workbook format filerevised 4/10/98

For those of you who are interested, I also am including the database I produced (the flat version of it - freshly imported from the spreadsheet). It is now in Access95 format, also zipped up (the file when extracted will come to about 3.4 megs, zipped it is about 600K). Download the databaserevised 4/10/98

NOTE: The following sectors are included in the file: Alpha Crucis, Amduken, Antares, Core, Corridor, Dagudashaag, Daibei, Dark Nebula, Delphi, Deneb, Diaspora, Ealiyasiyw, Empty Quarter, Fornast, Glimmerdrift, Gushemege, Gvurrdon, Hinterworld, Hlakhoi, Ilelish, Iwahfuah, Ley, Lishun, Magyar, Massilia, Mendan, Old Expanses, Reavers Deep, Reft, Riftspan, Solomani Rim, Spica, Spinward Marches, Staihaia, Trojan Reach, Verge, Vland, and Zarushagar. Many of the entries only include UWP data, I have added subsector and planet names where I could find them. Any information that I receive will be added to the spreadsheet and posted to this website.

Thanks to Joe Heck and Bill Clark for contributing the source data in electronic format, and to Marc Miller for pointing out some errors in the sector data as published (and letting me make the changes! :)

New Software! A 32-bit PC based World Generation program for Windows 95/98 or NT. I am including a screen shot of it's output so you can see if you like it (it's kinda big...)

Screenshot of the WorldGen program
Download here.

It is about 1.5 MB in size. In an attempt to try and promote the concept of open source, I am including a text file of the source code. If you would like the project files, contact me directly.

Updated Worldgen.exe v1.01 released Jan 29, 2000! If you already have the program installed, download this executable (105k) and replace the worldgen.exe in the program directory.
